Viewing Notes

Given our current state of global warming, this film feels more prescient than ever. Godzilla is pretty goofy in this but I actually liked Hedorah more than I remember. This might also show the most actual human deaths of any of the Toho Godzilla films.

This is the last of the Showa era films I hadn’t logged so that finishes off the Criterion set. I just need to pick up a copy of the dual Godzilla vs. Mothra/Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and watch those. Biolante will have to wait until some future time when I can get my hands on a copy.
