Viewing Notes

Dropped in on DKU-TV to catch some of the Ray Harryhausen marathon they’re doing all weekend. First up for me was this movie that I’d seen portions of before but not sure I’ve ever watched the entire film start to finish.

And wow, Kathryn Grant, Bing Crosby’s eventual wife, is quite a looker in the role of Princess Parisa. Kerwin Mathews makes a pretty decent Sinbad as well.

Classic Harryhausen stop motion animation here including the cyclops, a dancing half snake/half woman, a reanimated skeleton, giant birds and a dragon. Lots of fun to watch.
