If I watched this before then I certainly didn’t remember large chunks of the movie, which makes me think that if I did see it before, it wasn’t the full 3 hour 49 minute extended cut.
Apparently this was supposed to originally be two movies but was edited down by Leone to be a single film. I’d love to see what that original cut looked like because there are parts of the story that are obviously left out. I could easily imagine a five hour version of this film.
What a great cast too!
