Starting my dive into the shorts of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy before they teamed up to become Laurel and Hardy. From the Flicker Alley two disc set called Laurel or Hardy.
This is a pretty light take on the feuding clans with a sometimes real and sometimes man-in-a-costume bear joining the antics. Laurel is a secondary player here, with Larry Semon, who I know best as the director and star of the first silent adaptation of Wizard of Oz, playing the lead role and directing.
Obviously shot in California for the outdoor scenes.
