Perhaps not one of Martino’s best films and not even one of the better Italian Polizioteschi films but I liked the conspiracy plot and Luc Merenda does a capable job in the lead role.
Things start out promising and then get a little slow in the middle before reaching an appropriately cynical conclusion.
While not as action-oriented as other Italian crime films, I’m down with the political cynicism so this is perfect for me.
