Watched on the flight to Chicago to help Gavin move into his new apartment and to help Jay get rid of some furniture by moving it to Gavin’s apartment!
Serviceable enough movie. I wanted to like it more but the plot and dialogue was subpar at times. The action scenes were pretty decent, with fight choreography by Yayan Ruhian of THE RAID fame.
The real star here is wiry little Fify Azmi as the main character’s sister. She’s a fucking badass and watching her throw down was way more entertaining than any of the male characters’ fight scenes. I’d pay money to see her in more action films.
