This feels like the missing link connecting CONAN THE BARBARIAN and EXCALIBUR in part due to the Basil Poledouris score. Jennifer Jason Leigh spends a fair amount of time in some state of undress in this, including full frontal nudity. Verhoeven doesn’t spare the gory violence either.
Great to see Brion James, best known for his role in BLADERUNNER as the replicant Leon Kowalski, and Susan Tyrell who I remember best for her performance as Oma in FAT CITY.
