AKA SCANNER COP II. The rare occasion where the sequel is better than the original (SCANNER COP, not SCANNERS). Same team as the first but with a bigger budget and a better bad guy played by great character actor Patrick Kilpatrick, who has the head shape for a great scanner!
The practical effects are by the same team but again with a bigger budget. Which means better, gorier, more extensive effects! The screen door scene is so great!
Robert Forster shows up as a police captain as well.
