The English dubbing does this movie no favors. Assuming the original dialogue was in Russian, I’d be interested to watch a subtitled version at some point.
I really like the story even if the execution of it isn’t as great as it has the potential to be. Milena Radulovic does a nice job as the main protagonist, Anya, a scientist sent by the government to collect samples from a mysterious incident in the world’s deepest bore hole.
Has shades of THE THING and THE VOID, which is a good thing.
