Viewing Notes

Apparently a bit of a Sundance darling, perhaps partly because it’s executive produced by David Lowery. It definitely seems to have his influence on it.

It’s not always clear what’s going on until the end. And even then maybe it’s that not much really is going on. This feels like an ephemeral piece of art that can only exist for a short window of time, given how immersed it is in very recent internet culture; from online contributory role playing to ASMR videos.

I liked it, but wanted to like it more.
