It’s kind of hard to believe this movie exists and that it features Nick Cage in a role where he doesn’t have a single line of dialogue. One wonders if that was the role as written or if Cage showed up and said “yeah, this dude doesn’t speak, so we’re dropping all the dialgoue” and the producers/director were like “uh, sure Mr. Cage.”
It’s a passably interesting plot but everything that isn’t Cage fighting possessed animatronics falls pretty flat. Most of the death scenes for the other characters are done via animation and digital FX rather than the old fashioned way, which would have made for a much more interesting movie.
