This just did not work for me. Mostly I was just bored by its predictability and fake existentialism, except for the all the times I was WTFing about the awkwardly alien/mechanical dialogue.
I also didn’t really care for the cinematography that much. It was too self-aware and intrusive. I’m sure they were trying to offset the lack of location change, and let’s face it, interesting plot, but it just made me acutely aware that I was watching a movie and was a distraction more than anything else.
I was all set to apologize to Tonia for subjecting her to this when it was over, but she actually liked it.
