Giving this an extra star for the amazing miniatures work in this film! Combined with great lighting and fog effects it looks brilliant in the opening sequence, especially when combined with the mournful trumpet playing.
There are better Italian post-apocalyptic films but the miniatures work, costumes and interesting set designs keep this one from ever being boring despite its lackluster lead actor.
