I’ll probably watch this again at home. Based on my first viewing, I feel like I had to step over a lot of garbage to get to the good stuff. The characters are painted with the faintest of brush strokes, to the point that there is no investment by the audience in them. So why do you care what happens to them?
The final act is pretty bonkers and mostly enjoyable, even though I got to the reveal before the movie did (not the movie’s fault, just my experience of watching so many movies).
There was a very sparse crowd and they were a little chatty at times, which is one of the reasons I don’t like going to Orchard, though it didn’t bother me much this time.
