Viewing Notes

So burned out with work stuff this week (year?). We sent everyone home early and I decided to take the opportunity to see the 5pm screening of this because I was afraid it’d be out of theaters soon.

First off, it’s amazing a film like this is even playing in AMC theaters at all. While it’s not all spectacle, it’d still be great to see this on a much larger screen with much better sound. I can imagine that this will play well in the home theater and I’ll certainly be getting this on disc when it comes out.

There are so many things to piss off so many people in this movie, and whatever you think it is going into it, it’s most assuredly not that. I was very happy that I literally knew nothing about it and that the trailer not only gives away nothing, but completely misdirects your expectations.
