Worlds better than the last Adkins movie we watched, this film tries really hard to be more than what it is, and at times succeeds, and then at others just doesn’t quite get there. Extra points for effort, some decent fight choreography (though the sound effects needed to be punched up a little), and pretty good cinematography and editing.
Honor Kneafsey, as Adkins’ character’s daughter, more than holds her own and helps anchor the human element. Martin McDougall does a nice job as a CIA agent as well.
