Another adaptation of a book that’s really not adaptable to the screen. Cronenberg once again makes this his own work with Ballard’s book as his starting point. This is one of my favorite books and I remember being disappointed in the film when it first came out.
Gotta say, I really like it on this long overdue revisit.
