After Saturday’s revisit of Raimi’s THE QUICK AND THE DEAD I decided I needed to revisit this as well.
This has a lot in common with both QUICK and EVIL DEAD while being a bit more restrained than either of those films. You can tell it was shooting for a PG-13 rating just in the “wholesomeness” of the casting choices. I still find Justin Long annoyingly average in this movie but Lohman does a pretty good job in the lead.
A fun revisit ahead of the new DR. STRANGE movie.
