In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to find a place to heal. But someone — or something — from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her, and what begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears.

Not entirely sure why but this movie was deeply unsettling to me and there were some definite cringe moments. Which is to say I liked it a lot and can’t wait to watch it again in the home theater!
I went on my flex day to a 2:10pm showing. AMC Westminster never treats their “Artisan” showings well, but at least this was in theater 4, one of the largest non-Dolby/IMAX theaters. Small crowd of about 10 people total.
