Created by a Denver multimedia and experimental film artist, her work, including this, plays out like an alternative, or perhaps repressed, version of American history. This particular short focuses on a mysterious “event” at a high school but feels more like a study of the ominous effects of higher education on the fabric of American society.
Her work in general reminds me of Cabaret Voltaire and J.G. Ballard.
