Viewing Notes

I’ve never seen this version before. It exhibits some German Expressionism in some of the set design, specifically Claudin’s apartment and to a lesser degree, the catacombs.

Not nearly as frightening or interesting as the 1923 original but I love Rain’s performance in this. As Jay mentioned, it really feels like an extension of his INVISIBLE MAN character.
