FINALLY revisited this and holy shit, this movie creeps me out. When we first saw this in a theater both the sound and the projection were subpar leading me to miss lots of little things (Charlie’s clicking sound in some scenes; Annie’s shadowy ceiling/wall scurrying, to name two) that make this movie so unsettling.
Happy to say I don’t have that problem in my own home theater with this 4K disc!
Probably also not the best movie to be watching when you’re dealing with strained family relationships in real life.
