Overview
After a devastating battle against a diabolical turtle, a team of five avengers — known as the “Tobacco Force” — is sent on a mandatory retreat to strengthen their decaying group cohesion. Their sojourn goes wonderfully well until Lézardin, Emperor of Evil, decides to annihilate planet Earth.

Viewing Notes
A bit of a mixed bag, but still more in line with RUBBER than any of Dupieux’s later movies in terms of narrative structure, wildly veering plot, etc.
There’s some really great stuff in this, loosely held together with random bits. I’d probably have been better off if this double feature of this and HUNT would have been reversed. As it was, I was pretty tired by the time this hit the screen.
