Another Polish film (this time set in Lithuania) that seems to be a political critique of the former era’s aristocracy while at the same time turning into a nice bit of folk horror that gets by with implication and suggestion rather than outright portraying the creature. This sets it apart from SHE-WOLF.
Hard to tell for sure, but both this and SHE-WOLF seem to feature actual animal cruelty as well. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
