The IMDb dumb fucks have this listed as a comedy. Sigh.
This is a feature length episode from the BBC’s Play For Today which is described as a"British television anthology drama series that aired on BBC1 between 1970 and 1984”.
Very unsettling in an almost innocuous, understated way and definitely a precursor to THE WICKER MAN, which I’m probably going to need to re-watch soon.
