Anthony Mann’s final film (he literally died in London during production) is every bit a typical British spy thriller in that desperation is more of the accepted and fateful sort with an occasional outburst of effort to cement it. Mia Farrow is pretty stunningly beautiful in this. Coupled with her great acting, even in this kind of secondary role, she’s a bright light in the production.
