Viewing Notes

Tsui Hark, who produced the first two films, takes the reigns as writer/director so this one gets a little convoluted and odd with a lot of the action set in Saigon during the fall of Viet Nam to the North. But hey we get Anita Mui being a lovelorn badass and doing a lot of the two handed pistol shooting and ass-saving typically reserved for the male characters.

Also, Maggie Cheung in a minor role! She’s so damn cute!
