Viewing Notes

Not a movie for people who think every movie has to wrap up its plot in a neat little bow like it’s a pill they can swallow with a sip of their PBR. For the rest of us who can rub two brain cells together and form a thought, well, you may still not like it, but at least you’ll have an original opinion about it.

I actually enjoyed it because it’s kind of a mess on purpose and dares to tackle large issues without providing any clear answers. I can appreciate that. There’s so much going on at times that it’s easy to miss little things in the background, but there’s some fun stuff. There were parts of this that hit a little too close to home (but that’s the idea isn’t it?) and at times I felt like maybe this wasn’t the right time in my life for me to be watching this.

Wish I’d seen this in a theater. If this were even 10 years ago this would’ve gotten a wide release.
