Viewing Notes
Surprisingly entertaining early ‘80s horror that’s fairly compact in story. The “creature” looks like Chunk and Margorie Taylor Green had a baby. The kills manage to be interesting even though there are few of them and they’re fairly tame. Apparently the director was not pleased with the final cut and had his name changed for the initial release. Interestingly, except for the keyhole scene, this really plays like a made-for-tv movie (with the exception that it was shot on Panavision at 1.85:1).
Featuring great character actor Sydney Lassick and Lelia Goldoni who I immediately recognized from the 1978 version of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.
