Viewing Notes

The last of the films in the Bloodthirsty Trilogy box set from Arrow, this one from 1974. Very baroque, neo-gothic which feels so out of place for Japan and just makes it cooler. The vampires are pretty energetic in this, reminiscent of Hammer films to an extent, but with more vampire wrasslin’ and a modest amount of nudity.

Apparently in Japan no one actually knows how to kill a vampire until it happens accidentally.
