Overview

A giant asteroid is heading toward Earth so some astronauts disembark from a nearby space station to blow it up. The mission is successful, and they return to the station unknowingly bringing back a gooey green substance that mutates into one-eyed tentacled monsters that feed off electricity. Viewing Notes

I’ve had this sitting around for a while so this was a perfect time to finally watch this. Such a fun movie with some great, vintage miniatures work that’s a joy to watch. This is total 1950s American B-movie sci-fi but made in 1968 with a Japanese director at the helm instead. So odd! Would make a great movie night movie sometime in the future even though Jay has seen it multiple times. Might have to make it one of my 31 days of horror picks for 2023.
