I’m not familiar with the source material but this is a strange little film! More doesn’t go on than does, but there are enough odd, fun bits to make it worth a watch. Hopefully I can catch the sequel when DKUTV broadcasts it later in the month. I love the stop motion animated creatures, the flying sutras and the (limited) practical effects, just wish there was more of that.
