Viewing Notes
Not quite a horror but does have some supernatural elements to it. Lugosi plays the butler well, but doesn’t have a lot to do in the film. Atwill plays, you got it, another doctor, but also checks out early and has little impact. Both of them were obviously used for their names.
I don’t know if it was a wartime thing or what, but all these films that came out during WWII but aren’t war movies, take great care to not actually show full on dead bodies or the act of murder at all. Was that a thing?
