Viewing Notes

I was disappointed that the bulk of this is set in America rather than in “Asia” (really, we can’t even pick one country?). I was hoping for something more akin to Hammer’s TERROR OF THE TONGS. This is a precursor to every slasher film you’ve ever seen in that a series of victims gets knocked off one-by-one while they try to figure out what’s happening and who’s behind it. And you don’t really feel too sorry for them because they deserve it for being typical American tourists in “Asia.”

I did like the snake dance at the beginning which was excellent, and the end isn’t too bad. The middle is just kind of there.
