I really like this one even though it could obviously be better. It’s uneven and at its best when depicting the killings in a more verité style than we’re used to seeing from Italian giallos. The seance scene, while a great tension builder, feels out of place with the rest of the procedural stuff which is more realist. I’d love to see someone remake this with a more HENRY THE SERIAL KILLER approach.
