Viewing Notes

This came on after The Last Drive-In and I’ve been wanting to close the gap on this for a long time so why not. Probably shouldn’t have stayed up til 2 AM but what can you do.

I British really knew how to do a lot with a story on a low budget. This is an outstanding example. The whole thing feels very similar to many of the folk horror films out of England but it’s drenched in mounting unease, increasing paranoia and fear. A very unsettling fish out of water story.
