Viewing Notes

Skipping ahead 12 years after the first two Santo movies, this one is a full-blown Santo film featuring him as the main character working as an interpol agent while also being a luchadore. This movie has him traveling to Spain to solve the mystery of a damaged painting and possible forgery. The plot is pretty whackadoodle, involving an art restorer who injects chemicals into imprisoned models to cause tumors which he then surgically removes to use as part of his forgery process! Like I said, whackadoodle!

There are some great fight and wrestling scenes in this, my favorite being at Santos’ home with his partner when they’re attacked by multiple gunmen. It’s pretty fast and furious and a lot of fun.
