Viewing Notes
Not quite as fun as I was hoping but there are some good action beats here. You can feel the influence of more recent hyper-stylized action films in this but it doesn’t totally embrace that approach, instead going for something in-between, which doesn’t totally work, especially when paired with the editing that doesn’t seem to be able to keep a frenetic enough pace to do some of the action beats justice.
That said, the excellently lit scene in the abandoned factory is pretty well done and fun to watch.
