Viewing Notes

I couldn’t tell if this was supposed to be intentionally comedic or if that was just a result of the English dubbing. I’m going to have to watch it with Italian dubbing and subtitles to find out I suppose. This is the only film directed by Mario Mancini who did a lot of camera operator work on other productions. It’s not particularly good but I kinda dig the creature, named Mosaic appropriately enough. I think it has more in common with LADY FRANKENSTEIN, both in the monster’s design, and the more overt sexuality involved, but the two films aren’t really alike either.

The cops are hilariously bumbling idiots, more than usual even, and the editing is a mess and nonsensical at times.
