Viewing Notes

This is a “jack of all trades, master of none” anthology from Charles Band that I might’ve watched back in the day, because some segments felt really familiar. It’s dumb and goofy and some of the segments are too short and don’t make enough sense in the context of the wraparound story but that doesn’t stop it from being highly entertaining and a fun watch.

There are three cuts on the disc. I watched the RAGEWAR pre-release version as it’s the longest, most complete cut of the original film. It features a whole prologue dream sequence with nudity that’s missing from the theatrical release, has the original RAGEWAR title, and the stories are in their original sequence.

There’s also the RAGEWAR international cut and THE DUNGEONMASTER theatrical release cut on the disc. Pretty nice to have all three.
