Watched about half of this on the 4K disc until it froze. I tried multiple times to clean and restart it with no luck, so I guess I’ll be reaching out to VS for a replacement disc. Luckily the Blu-ray had the same cut of the film as the 4K so I finished it up there. Always irritating when that happens though and certainly colors your impression of the movie.
At any rate, this starts out promising. I liked the volatile mix of characters who might have a motive to go on a killing spree which added a bit of novelty to the typical slasher film. There are some fun kills too, but plenty of missed opportunities as well.
I watched the longer 85 minute theatrical cut that was originally released. This version has scenes from GRADUATION DAY and a porn movie cut into it, presumably to pad out the running time. It also extends the end credits by featuring different takes of most of the kills in the film (some of which, ironically, are better than the ones that made it into the film proper). All of the nudity comes from those scenes instead of the film itself.
