Finding himself in a new era, and approaching retirement, Indy wrestles with fitting into a world that seems to have outgrown him. But as the tentacles of an all-too-familiar evil return in the form of an old rival, Indy must don his hat and pick up his whip once more to make sure an ancient and powerful artifact doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

The further into the movie we got the more I liked it. Still not sold on the de-aging effects. I do like that, except for that flashback sequence, the “current day” Indiana is played as his age and doesn’t do anything that isn’t too outside the realm of possibility for his age. That actually made it more fun because he has these limitations that have to be creatively solved in other ways. I like how it all wrapped up and I hope this is the last of these films unless they decide to do something with an entirely different actor.
