Overview
During a failed art heist, the Djinn is once again liberated. This time, to complete the 1001 wishes that he needs before the final 3, he lets himself go to prison, where he starts his evil reign twisting the hopes of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the woman who set him free accidentally, Morgana, tries to find a way to stop him, aided by a young priest.

Viewing Notes
With the notable exception of Holly Fields in the leading role, this film doesn’t have nearly as much going for it as the original did. The original director and effects team are both missing from this effort and there’s a noticeable drop off in the use of practical effects, probably due to a tighter budget. Here’s hoping the next two sequels raise the bar a little.
