Judy Davis is kinda great as the rich American leader of the terrorist group in this Thatcherist tribute to Britain’s Special Air Service (SAS) even though in retrospect they kind of come off as floundering idiots who can’t penetrate the terrorist group for five minutes without blowing their cover with terribly non-clandestine meetups with the handler. Hilarious! This is a movie I’d have been all over as a kid though.
