Viewing Notes

Not terrible but the attempts at comedy really serve to undermine what could’ve been a more interesting straight horror film. Instead it comes across as a bit too self-aware and ironic. Love the practical effects and the kills though. Like TRAPPED ALIVE which I watched right before this, this was made in 1988 and really feels like it stands at the crossroads of ‘80s and ‘90s horror.
