Ho Meng-Hua’s directorial efforts are a little more outside the box of the traditional Shaw Brothers martial arts actioner and KILLER DARTS is no exception. It uses some unique location shooting combined with interesting on-set scenes that make it feel a little more “other.” This is also another late ‘60s film that’s as much focused on the melodrama and romantic entanglements as it is martial arts action.
The villains are, well, pretty villainous, and one of them sports a fun little dart-shooting lower arm replacement that seems pretty awkward to manage in reality.
