Viewing Notes

Another melodramatic love story disguised as a martial arts film, which I’m all for. Cheng Pei-Pei is great in this as a homeless, destitute wanderer (or is she?) who, as usual is initially mistaken for a man. She gets to stretch her acting chops and have some fun with this role. I also really like the varied locations.
