Viewing Notes

Segal is one of those actors who I kind of missed in that his best stuff wasn’t watchable by me in my formative years. Case in point, his excellent turn here as a low life NYC junkie. This has a great supporting cast too, including De Niro as a plainclothes narc. Another actor I’ve never had much for is Karen Black, but she’s great in this.
