Called HORROR OF DRACULA here in the states, but the version I watched has the English title card that just says DRACULA. Easily in my top three Dracula movies (the other two being the original and the Spanish version). Lee’s menacing, sinister, scheming take on Dracula is the polar opposite of Lugosi’s original which, combined with a driving score and some fast paced action sequences, makes for a breath of fresh air. This is to the original Dracula like 28 DAYS LATER is to Romero’s NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.
