Viewing Notes

Filling another Scorsese gap with his third full length film and second feature, this one for Corman’s American International Pictures. A B movie through and through, shot quickly and cheaply that shines because of the great turn by lead actor Barbara Hershey. While there’s not too much hint of things to come from Scorsese, there are bits here and there including a split diopter shot and the final crucifixion scene.
